uncover the secret to radiant and healthier looking skin with the
Alchimie Forever Le Secret ($150, 90 minutes) facial at Forever
Laser Institut (Geneva, Switzerland). Using Alchimie Forever
products, the face is first cleansed with the Excimer Purifying
Facial Cleanser. After a skin analysis to determine the specific
needs of the client, an exfoliation is performed using Excimer+
Facial Scrub to gently remove dead skin cells. Next, guests
receive facial lymphatic drainage to eliminate toxins by combining
longer strokes with pressure points, followed by a soothing
facial massage using Alexandrite Illuminating and Firming Gel
Erbium Skin Enhancing Body Lotion. A mask is then applied
to the face to soothe and brighten the skin and is left on for 15
minutes, during which time the guests receive an arm, hand, and

CEREMONY OF GOLD
Beauty seekers who love their bling have a
shimmering skincare solution courtesy of the
decadent Ceremony of Gold ($200, 1 hour 45
minutes) facial at Elizabeth Adam Salon & Day
Spa (Chicago). Using products from Klapp, this
treatment harnesses the healing power of gold
and incorporates actual gold leaf, which is said
to protect and heal the skin from within. First,
the skin is cleansed, toned, and exfoliated, and
a dollop of Golden Energy Serum is applied.
Next, gold leaf is placed on the forehead and
on the cheeks and secured with another drop
of serum. The mask is left to penetrate for 15
minutes while a hand and arm massage using
Golden Body Oil is performed. The serum and
leaf are then applied to the neck and décolleté
and allowed to penetrate while the facial mask
is removed. The final leaf is removed; Golden
Body Oil is massaged into the face, neck,
décolleté, and shoulders/upper back; and skin
